About the BMW R 1200 RT

The 2010 - 2013 BMW R1200RT benefits from numerus minor tweaks compared to the previous version. These include minor styling changes, switch gear (including conventional indicators), revisions to the screen and cockpit designs and location of the hydraulic fluid reservoirs.

The new model had the same engine delivering the same horsepower, but delivers more torque at 88 lbf⋅ft, and higher engine speed of 8,500 rpm, also it is fitted with double overhead camshafts that were first seen on the  BMW HP2 Sport
