The Aprilia Tuono 1000 R is a naked bike from Aprilia, based on the RSV 1000 R superbike. It uses a liquid-cooled V-twin of about 998cc with a 60-degree angle.

Fast, torquey and sharp-handling, it was one of the first super-naked bikes. Rivals included the KTM 990 Super Duke and Triumph Speed Triple.
