Aurora is a motorcycle project built around the Hellfire OZ26, a 2,575cc, 417-horsepower V8-powered machine designed by Vincent Messina, a Melbourne, Australia-based engineer with a background in superbike and sidecar racing. Messina began developing the V8 concept around 2004, building an early 2.4-litre proof-of-concept prototype in New Zealand before unveiling the finished bike at the EICMA show in Milan in 2015; stylist Tim Cameron contributed its distinctive bodywork. Production development has since been based in Thailand, where Messina relocated. The Hellfire remains an extreme, low-volume specialty machine rather than a mainstream production motorcycle.
