The BMW F650GS Dakar is the more off-road focused version of BMW's single-cylinder F650GS, with a taller seat, longer-travel suspension and a 21-inch front wheel. It uses a liquid-cooled 652cc single.
Named after BMW's Paris-Dakar rally success, it suits riders who want a capable, light adventure bike. Rivals included the KTM 640 Adventure and Yamaha XT660R.
