The BMW K 1200 RS is a fast sports tourer from BMW's K series. It uses a liquid-cooled 1,171cc in-line four laid flat along the frame, with shaft drive and a full fairing.

Powerful and comfortable, it was one of the fastest BMWs of its time. Rivals included the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird and Kawasaki ZX-12R.
