The BMW R 1250 RT is BMW's boxer-engined touring bike. It uses a liquid-cooled 1,254cc boxer twin with ShiftCam variable valve timing and shaft drive.
It comes with ride modes, traction control and an electric screen. Comfortable and fast, it suits long-distance riders. Rivals include the Honda Gold Wing and Yamaha FJR1300.
