The BMW R 1300 GS was launched in 2023, replacing the R 1250 GS. It uses a new 1,300cc boxer twin, offering more power and a more compact design.
It has a new steel frame, a full electronics package and features such as adaptive ride height and radar-assisted cruise control. It is designed for long-distance adventure touring. Rivals include the Ducati Multistrada V4 and KTM 1290 Super Adventure.
