The Ducati Monster 600 is the smallest model of Ducati's original Monster, the bike that created the modern naked class. It uses an air-cooled 583cc two-valve V-twin in a steel trellis frame.
Light, simple and stylish, it was popular with newer riders and riders who wanted an affordable Ducati. Rivals included the Suzuki SV650 and Honda Hornet 600.
