The Genuine Buddy 170i is the most powerful model in the Genuine Buddy range. It uses an air-cooled 169cc single with fuel injection, built in Taiwan by PGO, offering enough performance for faster roads.

It has the Buddy's distinctive retro style and is light and easy to ride. It is popular with commuters. Rivals include the Vespa Primavera 150 and Honda PCX160.
