The Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight is a Sportster model with a small peanut tank, a fat front tyre and a low, stripped-back look. It uses Harley's air-cooled 1,202cc Evolution V-twin.
It became one of Harley's best-selling models, popular with younger riders and custom builders. Rivals include the Triumph Bonneville Bobber and Indian Scout Bobber.
