The Hero Splendor Plus is one of the best-selling motorcycles in the world. Descended from the Hero Honda Splendor of the 1990s, it uses a simple air-cooled single of just under 100cc tuned for fuel economy, with a light frame and comfortable seat that suit daily commuting.

Its low price, low running costs and huge service network make it a default choice for millions of Indian riders. Later versions added fuel injection, i3S idle stop-start and, on the Xtec model, a digital dash with Bluetooth. Rivals include the Bajaj Platina, Honda Shine 100 and TVS Radeon.
