The Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade is Honda's flagship superbike. The Fireblade started in 1992 as the CBR900RR, and the first CBR1000RR arrived in 2004 with a 998cc inline-four.

The 2008 generation was lighter and more compact, Honda added combined ABS as an option the following year, and the 2017 generation brought a full electronics package. Rivals include the Yamaha R1 and Kawasaki ZX-10R.
