Honda CR 500

Honda · 13 model years · 1987-1999 All Honda models →

The Honda CR 500 is Honda's open-class two-stroke motocross bike, famous for its huge, hard-hitting power. It uses a liquid-cooled two-stroke single of 491cc to 495cc in a full-size motocross chassis.

It was a front-runner in open-class motocross in the 1980s and stayed on sale long after most rivals had gone. Today it is prized by collectors and as a base for big-bore desert and conversion bikes. Its main rival was the Kawasaki KX500.
