The Honda GL 1500/6 Gold Wing is the first six-cylinder Gold Wing, launched in 1988. It uses a liquid-cooled 1,520cc flat-six with shaft drive and a reverse gear.
Smooth, quiet and very comfortable, it set a new standard for luxury touring bikes. Its main rivals were the BMW K 100 LT and Harley-Davidson Electra Glide.
