The Honda Rebel 1100 arrived in 2021 as the big brother of the Rebel 300 and 500. It uses the 1,084cc parallel twin from the Africa Twin, retuned for low-down torque, in a low, stripped-back cruiser chassis.
With a seat height around 700mm, riding modes, cruise control and the option of Honda's DCT automatic gearbox, it is aimed at riders who want a capable mid-size cruiser that is easy to live with. It handles better than many cruisers and is lighter than most big V-twins. Rivals include the Indian Scout, Harley-Davidson Nightster and Triumph Bonneville Bobber. A touring Rebel 1100T version adds a fairing and panniers.
