The Honda VFR800 replaced the VFR750 in 1998 as Honda's sport-touring flagship. Its 782cc V4 engine gave it a unique character and smooth power, while its comfortable riding position and quality construction made it a favourite with riders who wanted one bike for everything.
In 2002 Honda introduced the VTEC variable valve system and new styling with underseat exhausts. A new VFR800F arrived in 2014 with a lighter frame and modern electronics. It is a refined, comfortable sport tourer. Rivals include the Triumph Sprint ST and Kawasaki ZZR600.
