The Kawasaki GPZ 550 is a sporty middleweight from Kawasaki's 1980s GPZ range. It uses an air-cooled 553cc in-line four in a light chassis, and was one of the fastest bikes in its class.
Quick, nimble and reliable, it was a favourite with young riders in the 1980s. Rivals included the Honda CBX550 and Yamaha XJ550.
