The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R is Kawasaki's hyperbike of the early 2000s, built to fight the Suzuki Hayabusa for the title of fastest production bike. It uses a liquid-cooled 1,199cc in-line four in an aluminium monocoque frame.
Fast and powerful, it was replaced by the ZZR1400. Its main rivals were the Suzuki Hayabusa and Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird.
