The Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a middleweight sportbike powered by a 649cc parallel twin. Originally sold as the Ninja 650R and ER-6f from 2006, it offered sporty styling and an approachable, easy-to-ride engine.
In 2017 it was redesigned with a lighter trellis frame, a lower seat and a more comfortable riding position, and later updates added a TFT dash and traction control. It is a popular choice for new riders, commuters and anyone who wants a sporty bike that is easy to live with. Rivals include the Yamaha R7, Honda CBR650R and Suzuki SV650.
