The KTM 1290 Super Adventure is a large adventure-touring bike launched in 2015. It uses a 1,301cc V-twin, giving it huge power and torque, and has a full electronics package with cornering ABS, traction control and cruise control.
The S version adds semi-active suspension and is more road-focused, while the R version has longer suspension and spoked wheels for off-road riding. A new version in 2021 brought adaptive cruise control and a new chassis. Rivals include the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure and Ducati Multistrada V4.
