The 390 Duke, launched in 2013 and built with Bajaj, is KTM’s small-capacity naked: a 373cc and later 399cc single making around 43 to 45 hp, a steel trellis frame, and a seat height of roughly 800 to 830 mm depending on generation. Wet weight is low - often in the mid-160s kg - which is the bike’s real advantage.
2017 and 2024-era redesigns added a TFT, better brakes and, on the latest bike, a sharper chassis. It is an A2 staple in Europe and a first “real” motorcycle in markets where 400s are the step up from commuters.
Compare with the Yamaha MT-03, Honda CB300R / CB500F and Kawasaki Z400/Z500.
