The KTM 790 Adventure was launched in 2019. It uses a 799cc parallel twin with a low-slung fuel tank that lowers the centre of gravity, giving it excellent off-road ability.
It has a full electronics package with off-road ABS and traction control, and the R version adds longer-travel suspension. It was replaced by the 890 Adventure in 2021, and KTM revived the 790 Adventure in 2023 as a more affordable model. Rivals include the Yamaha Ténéré 700 and Triumph Tiger 900.
