It has a full electronics package and a light, agile chassis. It is aimed at riders who want a powerful, exciting naked bike. KTM previously used the 990 Duke name in the 2000s for its 999cc V-twin Super Duke. Rivals include the Yamaha MT-09 and Triumph Street Triple.
