VOR Motorcycles

VOR - short for Vertemati Off-Road Racing - was an Italian off-road motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1998 in Ronco Briantino, near Milan, by brothers Alvaro and Guido Vertemati, who had built up their off-road engineering experience working for other manufacturers, including Husaberg. The company built enduro, cross, and supermoto machines and briefly expanded into street bikes in 2002, renaming itself Motorcycles VOR that year. VOR's best-known model was the MX 450 motocross machine. Hand-assembling such complex machines proved too costly to sustain, and production ceased around 2005; only a few hundred VOR motorcycles are estimated to have been built in total, making surviving examples rare at vintage off-road events today.
