KTM North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2022-2023 390 Duke and 2022-2024 RC 390 motorcycles. Water may enter the throttle (e-throttle) control unit and cause it to fail, resulting in loss of drive power while riding.
Risk: Loss of drive power while riding increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: KTM will inspect and replace the e-throttle control, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 30, 2026. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090. STRUCTURE:MOTORCYCLE:KICKSTAND/CENTER STAND
KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2025 390 Adventure R, 390 SMC R, 390 Adventure X, and 390 Enduro R motorcycles. Engine vibrations may cause the side stand spring to break and the side stand to fall to the ground.
Risk: A motorcycle side stand that falls to the ground while riding can shut off the ignition, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Owners are advised to secure the side stand before riding the motorcycle until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will replace the side stand spring and install a new side stand sensor retaining plate, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on February 17, 2026. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090. The manufacturer's number for this recall is KTB2514. The information in your report suggests that KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) may have been aware of this issue more than five business days before filing a report with NHTSA. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING
KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling all 2020-2022 1290 Super Duke R and Super Duke R EVO motorcycles. The main wiring harness may be misrouted or missing parts, which can cause wiring harness damage and result in an electrical short-circuit or engine stall.
Risk: An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
