Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (Kawasaki) is recalling certain 2025-2026 W230 motorcycles. The turn signal light bulbs may contain foreign material or have cracks, resulting in light bulb failure.

Risk: A front or rear turn signal that does not illuminate to indicate the rider's direction of travel increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace all turn signal lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 7, 2026. Owners may contact Kawasaki customer service at (855) 878-4217. Kawasaki's number for this recall is MC26-08.

If there is any abnormality with or damage to the bushing, the parts must be replaced and the crankshaft properly tightened, or the engine must be otherwise repaired or replaced. ENGINE

Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) is recalling certain 2025 BJ230A (W230 ABS) motorcycles. The electrical ground connection between the battery and frame may become unstable and result in an engine stall.

Risk: An engine stall increases the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: KMC will replace the battery harness and secure the ground connection, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 12, 2025. KMC's number for this recall is MC25-06.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:TRACTION BATTERY

Kawasaki Motor Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) is recalling certain 2024 Z e-1 ABS and Ninja e-1 ABS motorcycles. The connection between the battery pack assembly and motorcycle may fail due to a missing battery terminal anchor.

Risk: A failed battery connection can result in a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Owners are advised not to ride their motorcycle until the repair has been performed. Dealers will inspect the battery terminals and replace the battery if the anchor is missing, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 6, 2025. If the transmission gears are not properly engaged while shifting into 4th or 5th gear, high engine RPM can cause the output gears of 4th or 5th to fracture when the gears re-engage.

Risk: Damaged gears and the inability to shift can cause the engine to lock up, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: KMC will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the FI-ECU software, free of charge. Owners are advised to not ride their motorcycle until the repair has been completed.
