The Suzuki GS 550 L is the cruiser-styled version of Suzuki's GS550, with a stepped seat and pulled-back bars. It uses an air-cooled in-line four of about 549cc to 572cc.

Smooth and reliable, it was popular in the early 1980s. Rivals included the Honda CB550SC and Yamaha XJ550.
