The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 is an adventure tourer launched in 2020, replacing the V-Strom 1000. It uses a 1,037cc V-twin with ride-by-wire, giving it strong, smooth performance.
It has a full electronics package with cornering ABS, traction control and cruise control on XT versions. Its styling recalls Suzuki's DR-Big desert racers of the 1980s. In 2023 the DE version added longer suspension and a 21-inch front wheel for off-road riding. Rivals include the Honda Africa Twin and Triumph Tiger 900.
