The Yamaha Bws is a rugged 50cc scooter with chunky tyres and off-road styling. It uses an air-cooled 49cc two-stroke single with an automatic transmission.

Tough, simple and easy to tune, it has long been a favourite with young riders. Rivals include the Peugeot Speedfight 50 and Kymco Agility 50.
