The Yamaha FZ 750 is a sports bike from Yamaha's 1980s range, introducing Yamaha's Genesis engine design. It uses a liquid-cooled 749cc in-line four with five valves per cylinder, tilted forward in the frame.
It was the basis of Yamaha's sports bikes for years afterwards. Rivals included the Suzuki GSX-R750 and Honda VF750F.
