The Yamaha FZR 600 is a sports bike from Yamaha's late-1980s and 1990s range. It uses a liquid-cooled 599cc in-line four in a steel Deltabox frame, giving sharp handling and strong performance at a lower price than the racier bikes that followed.
It was a popular road and race bike in the supersport class until the YZF600R Thundercat replaced it. Rivals included the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZZ-R600 and Suzuki GSX600F.
