The Yamaha MT-10 is Yamaha's flagship naked bike, launched in 2016. It uses the 998cc crossplane inline-four from the YZF-R1, tuned for more low- and mid-range torque, giving it a unique, V4-like sound and strong acceleration.
It has a full electronics package with traction control, riding modes and cruise control. A 2022 update brought more power, new styling and a TFT dash. The MT-10 SP adds Öhlins semi-active suspension. Rivals include the BMW S 1000 R, Kawasaki Z H2 and Ducati Streetfighter V4.
