The Yamaha RD 250 is a two-stroke sports bike from Yamaha, best known as the RD250LC. It uses a liquid-cooled 247cc two-stroke parallel twin in a light chassis.
Fast and agile, it was a favourite with young riders in the early 1980s. Rivals included the Suzuki RG250 and Honda CB250RS.
