The Yamaha SR 500 is a classic single-cylinder road bike from Yamaha. It uses an air-cooled 499cc four-stroke single, kick-start only, in a simple chassis with a traditional British-style look.
Light and full of character, it stayed on sale for many years and is popular with custom builders today. Rivals included the Honda XBR500 and Royal Enfield Bullet.
