The Yamaha Ténéré 700 is an adventure bike launched in 2019. It uses the 689cc CP2 parallel twin from the MT-07 in a simple, rugged chassis with long-travel suspension.
It is light and capable off road, making it popular for adventure travel and rally riding. Updates added a TFT dash and riding modes, and the World Raid version has a larger fuel tank and better suspension. Rivals include the KTM 890 Adventure and Honda Transalp.
