The Yamaha V Star Classic, sold in Europe as the Drag Star 650 Classic, is a mid-sized cruiser from Yamaha. It uses an air-cooled 649cc V-twin with shaft drive and deep fenders.
Easy to ride and low-maintenance, it was one of the best-selling cruisers of its time. Rivals included the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 and Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic.
