The Yamaha XJ 600 S Diversion is a half-faired all-rounder from Yamaha. It uses an air-cooled 598cc in-line four in a simple steel chassis, with a comfortable riding position and a low seat.
Affordable, reliable and easy to ride, it was a popular first big bike and commuter through the 1990s and early 2000s. Rivals included the Suzuki Bandit 600S and Honda CBF600.
