The Yamaha XT 600 E is a dual-sport bike from Yamaha's long-running XT family. It uses an air-cooled 595cc four-stroke single with electric start, in a tall, simple chassis built for both dirt roads and daily riding.

Reliable and easy to maintain, it was popular with commuters, trail riders and overland travellers through the 1990s and early 2000s. Rivals included the Honda NX650 Dominator and Suzuki DR650.
