The Yamaha XV250 Virago is a small cruiser launched in 1988. It uses an air-cooled 249cc V-twin, offering smooth power and easy handling in a classic cruiser style.
Its low seat and light weight made it a popular first bike and learner choice for decades. It was renamed the V Star 250 in the US in 2008 and continued in some markets. Rivals include the Honda Rebel 250 and Suzuki Marauder 250.
