DTV is the brand behind the DTV Shredder, a dual-tracked, single-rider off-road vehicle developed by BPG Werks, a company founded in Canada around 2010 by Benjamin Gulak and Ryan Fairhead. Gulak had earlier gained attention with the UNO, a self-balancing transforming motorbike that appeared on Popular Science's "Invention of the Year" cover in 2008; the Shredder itself grew from designs and prototype parts Fairhead sketched and machined himself. Rather than a conventional motorcycle, the Shredder uses a patented dual continuously-variable-transmission system driving two tracks, letting the rider carve turns by shifting body weight, blending elements of snowboarding, motocross, and tracked ATVs. The vehicle has been sold internationally since 2013, and the company has since been renamed DTV Motor Corporation, based in Mississauga, Ontario.
