Risk: If the lower stand place screw becomes loose it can cause the bike to fall, or the engine to stall, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

Remedy: Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the side stand pivot and side stand plate fastening screw, free of charge. The recall began November 7, 2016. Owners may contact Ducati customer service at 1-800-231-6696. Ducati's number for this recall is RCL-16-003(B).
