The Yamaha XVS 650 Drag Star is a mid-sized cruiser from Yamaha, sold in the US as the V Star 650. It uses an air-cooled 649cc V-twin with shaft drive, in a long, low chassis.
Easy to ride, reliable and low-maintenance, it was one of the best-selling cruisers of its time. Rivals included the Honda Shadow 750 and Suzuki Intruder 800.
