The KTM 1290 Super Duke R is a hyper-naked launched in 2014. Its 1,301cc V-twin gave it huge power and torque, earning it the nickname 'The Beast', while its light trellis frame and quality suspension made it surprisingly agile.
A new version in 2020 brought a new frame, more power and improved electronics. It is a powerful, exciting naked bike for experienced riders. Rivals include the Ducati Streetfighter V4, BMW S 1000 R and Yamaha MT-10.
