The Moto Guzzi V7 Special is a classic-styled roadster from the modern V7 range, which Moto Guzzi launched in 2008 with styling inspired by its V7 models of the late 1960s and early 1970s. It uses Moto Guzzi's transverse V-twin with shaft drive, giving it a distinctive look and feel.
The original engine was a 744cc twin, and in 2021 the range moved to an 853cc engine with more power and torque. The Special features chrome, spoked wheels and classic paint. It is a relaxed retro roadster suited to new and experienced riders. Rivals include the Triumph Bonneville T100 and Kawasaki W800.
