About the Aprilia RSV Mille
The RSV 1000 Mille is a blend of Italian style with an Austrian power plant.
Wheels are are cast Aluminium with 120/70 ZR17 tyres up front and 190/50 ZR17 at the rear. The dash consist of a LCD speedo, shift light, clock, temp gauge and top speed this session switch.Â
Model history:
2001 RSV 1000 Mille : Updated fairing, fuel injection mapping, narrower fuel tank, Updated rear shock. Weight down by 5kg to 215kg and slightly lower centre of gravity. Optional Titanium exhaust.
2002 RSV 1000 Mille:Â Brembo 4 piston monobloc calipers, previously available on the RSVR and updated rear lights.
2003 RSV 1000 Mille: Closer gear ratios, replacement exhaust system and re-designed tail end.
A higher spec RSV Mille R launched in 2000. Notable differences include a fully adjustable Ohlins suspension and steering damper, forged wheels, carbon fibre mudguard, Brembo brakes and shorter single sub-frame.
The top of the line RSV Mille SP, of which only 150 were manufactured, appeared for racing homologation.
